About the role

Job summary

The role involves supporting the Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) and InfoSec department by ensuring that documented processes are current, compliant, and effective as regulatory requirements evolve. The Business Process Specialist will report to the Head of Governance and will utilize AI tools to enhance GRC operations.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in business process mapping, quality assurance, or GRC, preferably in a regulated financial services environment.
  • Strong understanding of corporate governance principles and the EU regulatory landscape for payment service providers.
  • Familiarity with AI tools for document drafting and compliance review.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills.
  • Fluent in English; Danish is a plus but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the review cycle for policies and procedures to ensure compliance and alignment with operations.
  • Lead process optimization projects, audits, and compliance initiatives, including requirements gathering and validation.
  • Conduct quality assurance and compliance assessments of business processes and products.
  • Facilitate the design and periodic refresh of processes to enhance efficiency.
  • Act as a liaison between GRC and other business units.

Skills

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to translate regulatory requirements into actionable business guidance.
  • Openness to adopting new technologies and tools in GRC work.

Education

  • Relevant degree or equivalent experience in a related field.

Tools

  • Familiarity with process mining or BPM tools, and project management methodologies such as Agile, PRINCE2, or PMP.
