About the role

Job summary

This role supports the Market Unit for the Middle East & Africa and involves close collaboration with regional stakeholders and central functions. Candidates should ideally be located within the region but must be willing to travel regularly.

Responsibilities

  • Implement the Business Unit strategy within the assigned Market Unit in collaboration with regional stakeholders.
  • Identify market opportunities, customer needs, and competitive trends to foster sustainable growth.
  • Develop and execute sales initiatives aligned with the Business Unit Business Plan.
  • Serve as the primary interface between the Business Unit and the Market Unit to ensure effective communication.
  • Assist local organizations in achieving commercial goals by identifying improvement opportunities.
  • Monitor business performance, analyze KPIs, and provide actionable recommendations.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to deliver business impact.

Qualifications

  • Over 5 years of experience in the construction industry, including international experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Economics, or Commercial Business Administration.
  • Experience in commercial and sales activities related to construction or supply industries.
  • Strong market knowledge, including segments, customers, and competition.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to develop long-term marketing strategies.
  • Technical knowledge of products in the Business Segment for slabs and walls.
  • Fluent in English and one local language.
  • Strong influencing skills and ability to work as a team player.
