Business Partner (Construction Industry, Europe West)

Job summary

This role supports the Market Unit in Europe West and involves regular travel within the region. The position is focused on implementing the Business Unit strategy in collaboration with regional stakeholders and central functions.

Responsibilities

• Implement the Business Unit strategy within the assigned Market Unit, collaborating closely with stakeholders.
• Identify market opportunities, customer needs, and competitive trends to foster sustainable growth.
• Develop and execute sales initiatives aligned with the Business Unit Business Plan.
• Serve as the primary liaison between the Business Unit and Market Unit, ensuring effective communication.
• Assist local organizations in meeting commercial objectives by identifying improvement opportunities.
• Monitor business performance, analyze KPIs, and provide actionable recommendations.
• Work with cross-functional teams to achieve business impact.

Qualifications

• Over 5 years of experience in the construction industry, including international experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Economics, or Commercial Business Administration.
• Experience in commercial and sales activities related to construction or supply industries.
• Strong market knowledge, including customer segments and competition.
• Strategic mindset with the ability to develop long-term marketing strategies.
• Technical knowledge of products in the Business Segment for slabs and walls.
• Fluency in English and one local language.
• Strong influencing skills and ability to work as a team player.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.

• Familiarity with market analytics and product management tools.
