Job summary

The role involves driving business growth in the LCL and Cargo Risk Management sectors across Europe. The Business Development Manager will enhance sales effectiveness, increase customer awareness, and convert opportunities into measurable results in global markets.

Qualifications

  • Significant experience in freight forwarding, particularly LCL, with FCL exposure preferred.
  • Proven track record in sales, business development, or solution design.
  • Ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders in customer organizations.
  • Experience managing complex, multi-country, and long-cycle opportunities.
  • Strong understanding of cargo insurance and risk management products.
  • Familiarity with end-to-end global supply chains.
  • Highly collaborative, capable of working across a Global–Region–Area matrix.
  • Strong commercial mindset focused on growth and customer value.
  • Data-driven with excellent analytical skills.
  • Proficient in English, with additional languages considered a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Sales to engage strategic customers and design tailored solutions.
  • Drive pipeline quality and growth delivery, ensuring alignment with regional targets.
  • Support sales teams with insights and tools to enhance performance.
  • Deliver product training and communicate updates effectively.
  • Ensure smooth transition from opportunity to customer onboarding.
  • Act as the first escalation point for complex deals.

Education
