The role involves driving business growth and enhancing product performance for LCL and Cargo Risk Management solutions across Europe. The Business Development Manager will work closely with sales teams and customers to convert opportunities into measurable results.

Qualifications

  • Significant experience in freight forwarding, particularly LCL, with FCL exposure preferred.
  • Proven track record in sales, business development, or solution design.
  • Ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders.
  • Experience in managing complex, multi-country, and long-cycle opportunities.
  • Strong understanding of cargo insurance and risk management products.
  • Familiarity with end-to-end global supply chains.
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to work across various organizational levels.
  • Strong commercial focus on growth and customer value.
  • Data-driven with analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and influencing abilities.
  • Fluent in English; additional languages are advantageous.

Responsibilities

  • Drive pipeline quality and conversion rates, ensuring alignment with business targets.
  • Support sales teams with insights and tools to enhance effectiveness.
  • Deliver product training and communicate updates to sales and account teams.
