About the role

Job summary

As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, driving revenue growth, and building long-term customer relationships within the territory of South Jylland, Fyn, and Sjaelland. This role requires extensive travel and a strong commitment to consultative selling and strategic planning to support company objectives.

Qualifications

  • Background in the optical industry or experience as an Optometrist.
  • Strong commercial acumen and entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage a high-potential sales area.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute territory business plans aligned with company objectives.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers.
  • Lead consultative sales efforts to deliver joint value for the company and customers.
  • Manage customer relationships to drive long-term sales growth.
  • Oversee daily operations across accounts and promote company products.
  • Achieve annual sales targets and KPIs.
  • Deliver product presentations and training sessions to retail staff.
  • Represent the company at industry events and seminars.

Skills

  • Proficient in Salesforce.com and MS Office; knowledge of Showpad is a plus.
  • Strong planning and time management skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and contribute to an inclusive culture.

Education

  • Relevant experience in the optical field or related education is preferred.
