Job summary

The ASSP Academy Lead is tasked with creating and implementing the capability-building strategy for the Asset Strategy function. This role collaborates with leadership and the People Function to translate business objectives into effective learning experiences and development programs that enhance organizational performance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Procurement, Human Resources, Organizational Development, Learning & Development, or a related field.
  • Experience in capability development, learning and development, organizational development, or procurement transformation.
  • Proven track record in designing and delivering learning programs in a complex global setting.
  • Strong skills in facilitation, stakeholder management, communication, and project management.
  • Experience working with senior leaders on capability and talent priorities.
  • Familiarity with digital learning platforms and technologies is a plus.
  • Knowledge of procurement and related fields is preferred.
  • Relevant certifications such as CIPS, CPSM, APICS, or Learning & Development certifications are advantageous.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain the ASSP Functional Capability Strategy in line with business priorities.
  • Establish capability frameworks and learning pathways for various roles within ASSP.
  • Collaborate with leaders to identify capability gaps and future workforce needs.
  • Oversee Academy governance, annual capability planning, and learning portfolio management.
  • Design and enhance the ASSP Academy portfolio, including workshops and leadership programs.
  • Measure the effectiveness of learning initiatives and their impact on business outcomes.
  • Manage learning vendors, budgets, and external partnerships.
  • Promote a culture of continuous learning and knowledge sharing across the function.

Skills

  • Strong strategic orientation with the ability to translate business strategies into learning priorities.
  • Expertise in adult learning principles and modern learning technologies.
  • Skilled in delivering engaging learning experiences both virtually and in-person.
  • Ability to build trusted relationships and influence stakeholders effectively.
