Qualifications

  • PhD in Electrical Engineering or a related field
  • Established independent research record with international publications
  • Documented teaching qualifications and ability to contribute to curriculum development
  • Experience in teaching and supervising IC design, including analog/mixed-signal CMOS and hardware for edge AI
  • Experience or a clear plan for attracting external research funding

Responsibilities

  • Conduct research in integrated circuit design for edge computing
  • Teach and supervise Bachelor and Master level courses in areas such as analog and CMOS circuit design, mixed-signal systems, and open-source chip-design flows
  • Supervise theses and international training courses in edge and open-source chip design

Skills

  • Expertise in analog and mixed-signal CMOS IC design, open-source chip design methodologies, and hardware accelerators for edge AI
  • Proficiency in design and validation flow, including layout, FPGA, and ASIC prototyping

Education

  • PhD in Electrical Engineering or a related field is required.

Tools

  • Familiarity with open-source EDA tools and design automation is preferred.
