Associate Energy Program Manager (Remote)

Job summary

This role involves managing strategic energy initiatives focused on datacenter energy supply and technology within the Nordics. The position requires collaboration with various stakeholders to support site selection, interconnection strategies, and the evaluation of new technologies to enhance sustainable energy solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Engineering, Law, Policy, or related field, or a Master's Degree in a similar discipline, along with experience in the energy industry, project management, or business development.
• Broad understanding of the European power industry, particularly deregulated power markets.
• Familiarity with the energy and utility sectors in Europe.
• Strong analytical skills for reviewing utility tariffs and power contracts.
• Fluency in English and a Nordic language (Swedish, Norwegian, Danish, Finnish).

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of datacenter interconnection with utilities and energy suppliers.
• Analyze energy industry trends and regulations to identify cost-saving and sustainability opportunities.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders on site selection and energy project development.
• Track datacenter metrics and improve internal reporting processes.
• Work with external vendors on regional energy market research.
• Support internal business cases with financial model input.
