Associate Director of Inbound Operations (Supply Chain, Aarhus)

Job summary

The role involves leading inbound supply chain operations across Denmark, focusing on collaboration with various departments to enhance efficiency and sustainability in the supply chain. The position oversees a diverse team of approximately 350 individuals, including drivers and supply chain personnel.

Responsibilities

• Ensure reliable and transparent inbound flows from suppliers and farmer-facing organizations to production.
• Develop and execute inventory strategies that balance availability, efficiency, and working capital.
• Enhance collaboration across the value chain to improve resilience and performance.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives, digitalization, and data-driven decision-making.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, trade regulations, and internal governance standards.
• Define and monitor KPIs related to service, cost, inventory, and CO₂ impact.
• Identify and proactively manage supply risks.

Education

• A degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, Agriculture, or a related field is preferred, though equivalent experience is also considered valuable.

Skills

• Experience in FMCG, food production, or manufacturing is advantageous.
• Exposure to sustainability initiatives or ERP systems such as SAP is beneficial.

Tools

• Familiarity with digital tools and systems that support supply chain management and operations.
