Job summary

This role involves leading the strategic development and execution of the Open Wing Alliance's initiatives in Europe, managing regional staff, and enhancing the effectiveness of member organizations to end the abuse of chickens. The position requires a strong background in corporate campaigning and coalition-based advocacy, along with the ability to navigate complex stakeholder relationships across various cultural contexts.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in team leadership and management, with a focus on setting goals and monitoring performance.
  • Strong understanding of corporate campaigning and advocacy strategies.
  • Ability to manage relationships with diverse stakeholders and member organizations.
  • Intermediate proficiency in English, with the ability to handle most situations and interact fluently with native speakers.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a team of regional staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performing culture.
  • Develop and execute OWA’s strategy in Europe, aligning with global priorities.
  • Guide decision-making on campaign priorities and resource allocation.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of regional strategies using data insights.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with member organizations, advising on campaign strategies.
  • Oversee regional program delivery and ensure effective coordination of initiatives.
