Associate Director, Business Development (Remote, EMEA)

Job summary

The Associate Director of Business Development will be responsible for driving new business growth across the EMEA region. This role involves identifying and securing strategic opportunities, building long-term relationships with key decision-makers, and influencing development and manufacturing strategies within the Integrated Biologics offering.

Qualifications

• Degree in Life Sciences (Biochemistry, Chemistry, Molecular Biology, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or related field).
• Extensive experience in commercial and business development within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or CDMO sectors.
• Proven ability to generate and grow strategic customer partnerships.
• Strong understanding of the drug development lifecycle.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Experience with CRM platforms, preferably Salesforce.com.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Develop and secure new business opportunities by building relationships with prospective customers.
• Create and execute a territory growth plan, leading customer engagements from lead qualification to deal closure.
• Maintain trusted relationships across customer organizations and represent the company at industry events.
• Promote the company's technical capabilities and service offerings through presentations and networking.
• Lead commercial discussions and negotiations, supporting contract development.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to progress and close opportunities.
• Monitor market trends and customer needs to develop competitive strategies.

Education

• Degree in a relevant Life Sciences discipline.
