Clinical Operations Business Analyst

Job summary

This role involves supporting a team focused on developing a clinical data platform within the clinical operations sector. The Business Analyst will report to a client manager and will be responsible for mapping clinical operations processes, identifying business challenges, and translating them into actionable solutions.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in management consulting as an analyst or consultant, with client-facing, on-site experience.
• Strong skills in PowerPoint, Excel, and written communication, capable of creating coherent presentations.
• Experience in life sciences, pharmaceuticals, or clinical research, with familiarity in clinical trial processes and terminology.
• Ability to conduct independent research and proactively present ideas.

Responsibilities

• Analyze clinical operations processes throughout the trial lifecycle to identify inefficiencies and improvement opportunities.
• Gather and document business requirements from stakeholders, translating needs into clear problem statements and solution frameworks.
• Develop structured presentations and storytelling slides to communicate findings and recommendations.
• Collaborate with senior consultants and client-facing teams to transition from problem identification to proposed solutions.
• Apply industry knowledge to understand how clinical recruitment affects broader trial outcomes.
