Job summary

This position involves supporting the Contracts Manager in the delivery of construction projects within a data center team. The role includes responsibilities related to project management, health and safety, and team coordination.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in project delivery, operational, planning, or engineering roles.
  • At least 2 years of construction experience across various contracts or sectors.

Responsibilities

  • Manage reporting systems and team meetings.
  • Support the Contracts or Project Manager in project delivery.
  • Act as a role model through professional conduct and leadership.
  • Engage in health, safety, environment, quality, and sustainability (HSEQS) management.
  • Monitor project progress against the Project Execution Plan (PEP).
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients, consultants, and suppliers.
  • Draft and review risk assessments and method statements (RAMS).
  • Ensure compliance with safety systems and project requirements.

Skills

  • Effective communication with project teams and supply chain.
  • Ability to identify and implement improvements in safety, quality, and productivity.
  • Competence in preparing RAMS for site operations.

Education

  • Degree or equivalent qualification in Construction or Engineering.
  • IOSH or equivalent health and safety management training.
  • Additional safety training as required by the site HSE plan.

Tools

  • Familiarity with BIM fundamentals and project management software.
