Job summary

The role involves supporting the Contract Management team in the offshore wind sector throughout the tender and project execution phases. The Assistant Contract Manager will collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure contractual obligations are met and contribute to successful commercial outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Relevant academic degree in law, commercial management, engineering, or a similar field.
  • 1–3 years of experience in contract management, commercial management, project management, or a related area.
  • Interest in commercial contracts and negotiations.
  • Familiarity with BIMCO Supplytime and/or FIDIC contracts is advantageous.
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proactive and solution-oriented mindset.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the review, drafting, and negotiation of client contracts.
  • Support contractual matters during the tender process, coordinating with Legal, Finance, Tax, and Insurance teams.
  • Help with the handover of contracts to project teams by identifying key obligations.
  • Aid project teams in managing executed contracts, including variations and claims.
  • Contribute to financial forecasting and promote contractual awareness within the organization.
  • Stay updated on contractual models and industry trends.

  • Strong communication skills for stakeholder engagement.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Education

  • Relevant academic degree in law, commercial management, engineering, or a similar discipline.
