About the role

Job summary

This role involves leading solution selling for complex system opportunities and managing an agent network while collaborating with internal and external stakeholders. The Area Sales Manager will participate in global project processes and ensure proper documentation and handover for project business.

Qualifications

  • Proven international sales experience with technical products.
  • Ability to develop and execute country-specific sales strategies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in using commercial tools and BI tools for sales processes.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills in English and one additional language.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Commitment to trade compliance procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Lead solution selling and coordinate stakeholders for complete solutions.
  • Manage and develop the agent network and collaborate across functions.
  • Identify new applications to increase market share.
  • Build strong customer relationships and address customer pain points.
  • Execute strategic plans to grow sales and profitability in assigned countries.

Skills

  • Strong relationship-building and customer-centric approach.
  • Ability to make timely decisions and navigate obstacles.
  • Experience in marine industry sales and complex system solutions is preferred.
  • Comfort in cross-cultural collaboration and managing international networks.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree or comparable level of learning and experience.

Tools

  • Proficient in BI tools and sales forecasting processes.
