The Area Manager is responsible for overseeing the operations of multiple grocery stores, ensuring efficient fulfillment and delivery processes while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, customer experience, and productivity.

Qualifications

• Experience in operations management within retail, distribution, or platform economy sectors.
• Strong analytical skills, particularly in Excel.
• Proven leadership experience in store environments or similar fields.
• Full professional proficiency in English; proficiency in Danish is a plus.
• Ability to think and act quickly with attention to detail.
• Hands-on, proactive, and adaptable attitude.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end store operations across a group of stores.
• Focus on continuous improvement in safety, quality, customer experience, and productivity.
• Maintain a motivated team by hiring and training new store leaders.
• Provide daily leadership and guidance to optimize store operations.
• Create shift schedules and drive quality and process change initiatives.
• Review demand forecasts to determine productivity requirements.
• Collaborate with the Operations Manager and team to develop optimal store operations.
