Analytics Engineer (Startup, Copenhagen)

Job summary

This role involves working closely with customers and the founding team to transform raw subscription data into reliable data models that enhance platform functionality and machine learning capabilities.

Qualifications

• Strong background as an analytics engineer or data analyst with experience in modeling and pipeline development.
• Proficient in SQL and dbt for building dependable data models.
• Comfortable engaging with non-technical stakeholders and explaining technical concepts.
• Experience in modeling complex business data such as subscriptions, transactions, and finance.
• Analytical mindset suited for dynamic and undefined environments.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the founding team and customers to understand and model their data.
• Manage customer onboarding from a data perspective, ensuring successful integration into production.
• Develop and maintain the dbt layer that supports product features and internal analytics.
• Serve as the technical contact for customer data inquiries and integration scoping.
• Implement tests and quality checks to identify data issues proactively.
• Contribute to scaling operations from 10+ to 100+ customers.

Skills

• Strong fundamentals in data engineering and analytics.
• Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience in a fast-paced, high-impact work environment.

Education

• Relevant degree or equivalent experience in data analytics or engineering.
