AI Product Owner

Job summary

The role of AI Product Owner involves leading the development and delivery of AI products that generate measurable business value. You will collaborate with a cross-functional team, including data scientists and engineers, to transform AI opportunities into actionable solutions while ensuring responsible AI practices.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or in a similar role focused on digital or data-driven products.
• Strong understanding of AI at the product level, including key trade-offs and operational considerations.
• Familiarity with machine learning concepts, including prediction and generative AI approaches.
• Excellent communication skills to convey AI opportunities to stakeholders effectively.

Responsibilities

• Own the AI product roadmap, backlog, and KPIs for selected generative AI and machine learning products.
• Drive development based on use cases, ensuring alignment with business priorities.
• Manage compliance and security by establishing governance frameworks for AI solutions.
• Oversee the performance and operational aspects of AI products, including monitoring and incident management.

Skills

• Ability to navigate uncertainty and iterative development processes.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

Education

• Relevant educational background in a related field is preferred.

Tools

• Experience with agile methodologies such as Scrum or SAFe is beneficial.
• Familiarity with frameworks for evaluating AI outputs and model behavior is a plus.
