WMS Product Owner (Logistics)

Job summary

The role involves taking ownership of Warehouse Management System (WMS) solutions that support highly automated Distribution Centers across Europe. The Product Owner will set direction, drive priorities, and ensure operational stability while identifying improvement opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience with logistics IT solutions in automated warehouse environments.
• Background as a Product Owner, Application Specialist, Consultant, or Project Manager related to Warehouse Management Systems.
• Strong stakeholder management skills.
• Familiarity with SSI Schaefer solutions like WAMAS or ANT is advantageous.
• Ability to balance value, cost, risk, and effort in decision-making.
• Proficient in structured and transparent communication.
• Excellent English language skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure stability and continuous development of WMS solutions.
• Own and prioritize the Team Backlog to maximize business value.
• Act as a liaison between Distribution Centers, Logistics, IT, and external partners.
• Provide leadership and development for a Business Solution Specialist in the Scrum team.
• Enable high-quality delivery through timely decision-making and clear direction.
• Drive refinement and alignment for shared understanding across teams.

Education

• Relevant experience in logistics IT and warehouse management systems.

• Warehouse Management Systems, SSI Schaefer solutions.
