About the role

Job summary

The role involves performing visual inspections of welds and ensuring compliance with quality procedures and inspection test plans. The inspector will also be responsible for tracking weld data, filing documentation, and conducting site inspections as necessary.

Qualifications

  • Minimum certification of CSWIP 3.1 or PCN Level II in welding inspection.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct visual inspections of welding work.
  • Track and document weld data, including report writing.
  • Perform site inspections and inspections of goods as required.
  • Walk lines according to P&ID specifications.
  • Ensure compliance with project-approved Quality Plans and Inspection Test Plans.
  • Coordinate third-party Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) when necessary.
  • Liaise with client Quality Assurance and Quality Control representatives.

Skills

  • Experience in semi-conductor and high purity environments is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with Eida software is a plus.

Education

  • Relevant certifications in welding inspection are required.

Tools

  • Eida software for documentation and reporting.
