Job summary

The Warehouse Shift Manager is responsible for leading a safe and efficient operation within a logistics warehouse. This role focuses on daily shift activities, ensuring operational excellence, and meeting customer expectations while driving performance through effective leadership and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in warehouse operations
• Strong leadership and people management abilities
• Capability to engage and influence at all levels
• Understanding of KPIs and operational performance management
• Proficiency in warehouse management systems and Microsoft Office
• Proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
• Preferred: IOSH Managing Safely or similar certification, formal management qualification, experience with food safety or BRC standards

Responsibilities

• Champion a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with HSSE and food safety standards
• Manage daily shift operations to achieve KPIs and customer expectations
• Coach and develop team members while managing performance
• Collaborate with other leaders and stakeholders for operational consistency
• Build relationships to enhance customer experience and resolve challenges
• Utilize Lean and Continuous Improvement tools to optimize processes
• Maintain site security and ensure audit readiness
