Test, Verification & Validation Lead (Healthcare, Remote or Belgium)

Job summary

This role involves leading the testing strategy and execution for healthcare technology products across the Northern Countries of Europe and South Africa. The position combines strategic oversight with hands-on involvement in testing activities to ensure product quality and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Over 7 years of experience in QA/testing with practical expertise
• Proven ability to blend strategic planning with execution
• Strong background in automation and CI/CD processes
• Familiarity with MDR and ISO 13485 standards
• Excellent leadership and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Define and implement a regional testing strategy
• Establish frameworks to ensure compliance with MDR and ISO standards
• Lead hands-on test design and execution
• Support teams with defect analysis and validation efforts
• Address high-risk testing scenarios proactively
• Define key performance indicators for testing
• Drive initiatives for continuous quality improvement
• Implement automation strategies and integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product, Engineering, and Delivery
• Coordinate practices across the Northern Countries of Europe and South Africa
• Foster a QA community within the organization

Skills

• Strong automation and CI/CD experience
• Knowledge of healthcare regulations and standards (MDR, ISO 13485, ISO 14971)
• Proficiency in Danish, Dutch, or French is required

Education

• Relevant degree in a related field is preferred

• Familiarity with testing tools and automation frameworks is advantageous
