DevOps Team Lead (Remote, Global)

Job summary

In this leadership role, you will oversee a globally distributed team responsible for critical infrastructure initiatives, including Heavy Compute, Core Networking, and Cloud/Physical Infrastructure. Your focus will be on planning, communication, and team management rather than hands-on technical work.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Engineering Manager, DevOps Lead, or Site Reliability Engineering Lead managing distributed teams.
• Strong people management skills with an emphasis on coaching and team culture.
• Expertise in engineering support frameworks and roadmap planning.
• Experience in Change Management lifecycles and incident management.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Solid understanding of modern DevOps/SRE ecosystems, including Kubernetes, Terraform, PostgreSQL, and observability tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a high-performing engineering team across multiple time zones.
• Own the execution of critical infrastructure upgrades and ensure high availability.
• Drive change management processes and facilitate collaboration between technical groups.
• Design and implement support workflows and agile planning methodologies.
• Manage global on-call rotations and lead incident response efforts.
