Qualifications

  • Degree in systems engineering or equivalent technical experience.
  • Proven experience in automation or systems engineering, particularly with PLC engineering and controls.
  • Ability to design, analyze, and manage complex systems in production environments.
  • Experience in delivering technical projects while maintaining safe 24/7 production operations.

Responsibilities

  • Design control system architecture for production platforms, including high-level automation and PLC engineering.
  • Establish supplier requirements for OT/IT compliance, cybersecurity updates, and technical documentation.
  • Collaborate with project managers on Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), Site Acceptance Testing (SAT), retrofits, and functional solution decisions.
  • Provide support for global operations by troubleshooting issues related to machines, equipment, automation, and logistics processes.
  • Work on system improvements with suppliers, technicians, software developers, and PLC engineers across various manufacturing sites.

Skills

  • Familiarity with SCADA systems, web-based solutions, and agile development methodologies is advantageous.
  • Interest in network architecture and cybersecurity concepts within operational technology.

Education

  • A degree in systems engineering or equivalent technical experience is required.

Tools

  • Experience with PLC systems and automation tools is essential.
