Job summary

This role involves hands-on work with diagnostic technology to support reliable patient diagnosis. The position is within the Research & Development team, focusing on the ImmuView® Reader platform, contributing to testing, documentation, and maintenance of diagnostic assays.

Qualifications

• Relevant educational background as a Senior Laboratory Technician, Biomedical Engineer, or in a related field.
• Experience in in vitro diagnostics (IVD), medical devices, or regulated environments is preferred.
• Basic understanding of software and instruments.
• Knowledge of ISO 13485 and Design Control is advantageous.
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

Who You Are

• Conduct formal and informal testing of Reader instrument functionality across various assays.
• Prepare protocols and reports documenting functionality tests.
• Maintain and support software updates for different Reader versions.
• Manage local inventory of Readers and related accessories.
• Maintain Reader-related procedures in the quality management system.
• Serve as a superuser for data extraction from the Readers.
• Verify user guides and manuals based on instrument functionality.
• Ensure accuracy of the Reader documentation repository.
• Collaborate with Production and Warehouse on production and release processes.
• Support general R&D activities, including new assay development and testing of new equipment.
• Structured and systematic in work approach.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on generating reliable results.
• Enjoys hands-on laboratory and technical work.
• Communicates clearly and documents work accurately.
• Collaborates effectively across teams and disciplines.
