Qualifications

  • A two-year master's degree (120 ECTS points) or equivalent academic level.
  • Background in social sciences.
  • Familiarity with supply chain management, organization studies, or related fields.
  • Strong interest in sustainability and regenerative systems.
  • Proficient in English, both spoken and written.

Responsibilities

  • Investigate management practices of global agricultural commodity chains based on regenerative principles.
  • Participate in a structured research and training program, including independent research, academic coursework, teaching, and professional development.

Skills

  • Research vision and potential.
  • Evidence of academic achievement (e.g., high grades, timely graduation).
  • Knowledge of qualitative research methods and experience with empirical fieldwork.
  • Strong academic writing skills.
  • Familiarity with Kenya’s socio-cultural context is desirable but not mandatory.
