Technical Service Specialist (Refrigeration, Skanderborg)

Job summary

This role involves becoming a product specialist in advanced refrigeration and heat pump technology, specifically for GEA Grasso in the Nordic region. The position requires significant on-site work with customers, providing technical support and troubleshooting for GEA equipment.

Qualifications

• Education as a refrigeration technician
• In-depth knowledge of industrial NH3 refrigeration and heat pump systems
• Experience with compressor controllers and PLCs
• Proficient in analyzing and utilizing data from control systems
• Strong computer skills, particularly with Microsoft Office 365 applications
• Clear and professional communication skills in English

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support and advanced troubleshooting on GEA equipment, spending 60-70% of time on-site across Scandinavia
• Commission GEA Grasso compressors, chillers, and heat pumps
• Set up and program GEA’s Omni compressor control system
• Prepare commissioning jobs and site visits from the office
• Document executed works through service, commissioning, and claim reports
• Offer technical support via phone and email
• Create and manage cases in the CRM service portal (2nd level support to factories)
