Technical Sales Specialist (AI Infrastructure)

Job summary

The role focuses on providing technical expertise in AI infrastructure, particularly in GPU cluster architecture and related technologies. The Technical Sales Specialist will engage with customers and partners during the design and procurement phases, ensuring the delivery of credible solutions for AI server platforms.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of experience in technical pre-sales, solution architecture, or systems engineering within data centre or AI/HPC infrastructure.
• Hands-on knowledge of AI server platforms such as NVIDIA HGX, DGX, and their infrastructure requirements.
• Experience in designing high-density data centre infrastructure, including power distribution and cooling solutions.
• Proven ability to create Bills of Materials, rack designs, and perform power/thermal calculations independently.
• Direct customer engagement experience in a pre-sales context.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical discussions with customers and partners during the AI infrastructure design phase.
• Develop and present solutions for GPU rack deployments, including power and cooling strategies.
• Produce technical documentation such as solution designs and rack layouts for review.
• Support Account Managers in converting technical discussions into sales opportunities.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of AI server platforms and their infrastructure needs.
• Act as a technical liaison with alliance partners, supporting joint design reviews and RFP responses.
• Provide technical enablement to sales teams on AI infrastructure offerings.
• Contribute insights to product management and roadmap teams based on market feedback.
• Create reusable technical assets and mentor commercial team members on AI infrastructure concepts.

Skills

• Strong understanding of AI networking architectures and their implications for data centre design.
• Familiarity with prefab and modular data centre deployment models.

Education

• Relevant certifications such as NVIDIA, VMware VCP-DCV, or data centre design credentials are desirable.

Tools

• Proficiency in tools for creating technical documentation and designs.
