Job summary

The role involves leading technical aspects during the tender and early project phases for offshore wind projects, ensuring successful execution from bid to delivery. The position requires collaboration with various teams to develop robust technical inputs and maintain project integrity.

Qualifications

  • Degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial engineering or equivalent experience
  • Solid background in offshore wind projects, particularly in tender and bid phases
  • Strong understanding of composite structures and rotating equipment
  • Experience in translating site experience into tender inputs and execution concepts
  • Knowledge of contract and project management
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Proficiency with digital tools and technical documentation
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken)
  • Willingness to travel internationally
  • Experience in renewable energy or offshore construction is a plus

Responsibilities

What We Offer

  • Provide technical leadership for bids, RFQs, and tenders
  • Develop technical concepts and assumptions for pricing and planning
  • Support risk assessments and feasibility evaluations during the tender phase
  • Ensure alignment between commercial proposals and execution capabilities
  • Support projects during execution to maintain technical integrity
  • Develop and maintain standard tools and methodologies
  • Act as a technical interface among clients, sales, and project teams
  • Resolve technical challenges throughout the project lifecycle
  • Ensure technical quality, HSE compliance, and risk mitigation
  • Drive continuous improvement in technical processes
  • Travel up to 75–100 days per year to connect with sites and projects
