System Specialist (Finance, Remote)

Job summary

This position offers a significant opportunity to gain insights into group-level financial consolidation and reporting within a large multinational organization. The role is part of an international team focused on financial data quality governance, ensuring accurate and timely financial data flow in and out of SAP Group Reporting.

Qualifications

• 3 to 6 years of experience in financial reporting, group consolidation, controlling, or audit, preferably in a multinational environment.
• Familiarity with SAP systems, particularly SAP Group Reporting, is advantageous.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a rigorous approach to work.
• Proficient in English communication, both with finance and technical teams.

Responsibilities

• Participate in pre- and post-financial consolidation control, acting as a quality gate between entity data and consolidated figures.
• Serve as a primary contact for reporting entities and group controllers during the financial closing cycle, addressing issues and queries.
• Collaborate with the Senior System Specialist to develop process documentation and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Work with various finance departments on financial data integrity, controls, and reporting.
• Engage in financial quality checks related to financial migrations, mergers, and business transfers.
