Supply Planning Manager (Retail, Remote)

Job summary

This role involves leading and developing the Supply Planning department within a global retail organization, focusing on strategic decision-making and team performance to ensure optimal product availability across various markets.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in Supply Chain Management, particularly in supply planning or related areas.
• Strong business acumen with the ability to convert strategy into actionable plans.
• Excellent analytical capabilities and a data-driven approach to decision-making.
• Familiarity with S&OP processes and supply chain optimization techniques.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence at various organizational levels.
• Proactive, results-oriented mindset focused on continuous improvement.
• Fluency in English; knowledge of Danish is a plus but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Define the strategic direction for Supply Planning, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
• Maintain optimal product availability across distribution centers while managing key performance indicators.
• Collaborate closely with key stakeholders in the S&OP processes.
• Oversee supply planning performance metrics, including service and stock levels, and forecast alignment.
• Identify potential risks and opportunities within the supply chain and implement proactive measures.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives, optimizing processes, tools, and data usage.
