This role involves ensuring the reliability of operations in a highly automated production environment by managing spare parts availability. The position focuses on optimizing inventory, reducing costs, and maintaining high service levels for production needs.

Qualifications

  • Technical background with experience in inventory or spare parts management in a production or maintenance setting.
  • Proficient in inventory management and MRP processes.
  • Strong knowledge of SAP, preferably SAP PM.
  • Experience in supplier management and procurement.
  • Proven leadership skills to create a supportive environment for internal customers and the spare parts team.
  • Familiarity with KPIs, inventory optimization, and improvement projects.
  • Experience in budget tracking and cost management.
  • Methodical and structured approach with a LEAN mindset.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across the organization.
  • Ownership of tasks, driving change, and achieving results.
  • Fluent in Danish and English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

  • Manage spare parts and inventory effectively through MRP, adhering to safety stock levels.
  • Reduce inventory binding using a risk-based approach.
  • Ensure high inventory accuracy and proper goods receipt and registration.
  • Identify and manage obsolete and critical spare parts in collaboration with technicians.
  • Support maintenance plans by ensuring timely availability of spare parts.
  • Handle various procurement tasks and support sourcing and supplier management.
  • Initiate improvement initiatives aimed at reducing costs, enhancing quality, and improving service levels.
  • Analyze inventory data, criticality, and consumption patterns.
  • Contribute to the development of standards and processes for inventory management and SAP PM.
  • Lead the spare parts team, ensuring effective daily operations and compliance with standards.
  • Report on KPIs such as inventory turnover, OTIF, inventory value, and out-of-stock situations.

Education
