Job summary

The Supply & Logistics Officer plays a crucial role in supporting global emergency responses by ensuring the rapid mobilization of supplies and effective coordination with various business centers and offices. This position focuses on emergency support, reporting, and preparedness activities to enhance operational efficiency in high-risk contexts.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Management, Economics, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Procurement, Contract/Commercial Law, or related fields.
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in supply and logistics operations, particularly in emergency contexts and strategic procurement.

Responsibilities

  • Provide rapid support for emergency sales orders and coordinate with Country Offices (CO) and Regional Offices (RO).
  • Monitor and expedite emergency sales orders, ensuring compliance with key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Gather and summarize information for emergency reporting and prepare briefing notes for meetings.
  • Extract and analyze data for critical deliveries and follow up on pending issues.
  • Assist in developing and updating emergency preparedness strategies and supply plans.
  • Engage with stakeholders for project development related to emergency supply and logistics tools.

Skills

  • Strong knowledge of emergency support and logistics operations.
  • Ability to work effectively in high-pressure environments and manage multiple tasks.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in relevant fields as mentioned above.

Tools

  • Familiarity with supply chain management software and reporting tools.
