About the role

Job summary

This role involves supporting the Funding Team within the Group Treasury & Risk Team, focusing on financing activities and gaining exposure to debt capital markets. The position is ideal for a student looking to apply their academic knowledge in a practical setting while contributing to digitalization and AI initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Currently in the final year of a Bachelor’s degree or starting a Master’s program in Finance, Economics, or a related field
  • Self-driven and structured with strong collaboration skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, international environment
  • High proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Fluency in English with strong communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and develop recurring reports (e.g., monthly funding report, bond pricing report)
  • Support analyses and execution tasks related to financing transactions
  • Ensure accurate reflection of the debt portfolio in the treasury management system
  • Assist in implementing new digital and AI solutions for workflow automation
  • Support funding transactions such as corporate bond issuances
  • Update the group treasury system and manage fees invoicing
  • Take independent responsibility for selected reports and deliverables

Skills

  • Proficiency in programming languages like VBA, R, MATLAB, or Python is a plus
  • Experience in automating reporting or workflows using AI tools is beneficial

Education

Work Hours

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field (final year) or Master’s program (September intake)
  • Approximately 20 hours per week with flexibility around exam periods.
