Job summary

This position involves practical experience in testing hearing aids and wireless accessories as part of a cross-functional team focused on connectivity across various devices. The role is designed for students pursuing higher education, allowing for approximately 15 hours of work per week with flexibility around academic commitments.

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a higher education program in engineering, software development, mathematics, or a related field.
  • Collaborative team player with a proactive and structured approach.
  • Curiosity and critical assessment skills regarding products.
  • Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
  • Experience with XML programming, bash/python scripting, and hardware troubleshooting is advantageous.
  • Basic understanding of wireless systems and device integration is desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain the integrated automation test system through hardware and software updates.
  • Design and implement automated regression tests for systems involving phones and hearing instruments.
  • Conduct manual exploratory tests alongside automated testing.
  • Verify defects and reproduce reported issues comprehensively.
  • Enhance the test framework, tools, and laboratory setups.
  • Identify and propose new functionalities for the test framework, including automation dashboards and triggers.

Skills

  • Experience with XML, bash/python scripting, and troubleshooting hardware.
  • Understanding of wireless systems and device integration.

Education

  • Enrollment in a relevant higher education program is required.

Tools

  • Familiarity with automation testing frameworks and tools is beneficial.
