Job summary

This role involves gaining practical experience in tax governance within a regulated financial institution, working closely with tax and compliance professionals. The position is based at the headquarters in Copenhagen and focuses on supporting the Tax Governance & Framework team.

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, or a related field with strong academic performance.
  • Interest in tax, regulation, compliance, or risk management is essential.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development and maintenance of tax governance frameworks, policies, and procedures.
  • Document tax processes, controls, and risk assessments.
  • Prepare management and regulatory materials, including dashboards and presentations.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders across various departments such as Tax, Compliance, Operations, Legal, and IT.
  • Contribute to ad hoc projects related to regulatory changes and process improvements.

Skills

  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Curiosity and motivation to learn about complex regulatory frameworks.

Tools

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • Prior experience in tax, compliance, governance, or documentation is advantageous but not mandatory.
