Student Assistant - Sustainable Procurement (Smørum, Denmark)

Job summary

This role involves supporting the Sustainable Procurement agenda by contributing to ESG reporting, data management, and supplier collaboration on decarbonization initiatives. The position offers hands-on experience at the intersection of procurement and sustainability, working closely with procurement professionals and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Engineering, Sustainability, Supply Chain, ESG, or a related field.
• Strong interest in sustainability and supply chain topics.
• Solid analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Experience with Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with Power BI is a plus.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Support ESG reporting processes related to Scope 3 emissions and Sustainable Procurement KPIs.
• Assist in consolidating and structuring sustainability data for reporting purposes.
• Contribute to the development and tracking of procurement-related ESG metrics.
• Aid in the rollout and improvement of the Supplier Engagement Programme.
• Prepare supplier communications and assist in evaluating supplier sustainability performance.
• Support the retrieval and validation of Product Carbon Footprint (PCF) data from suppliers.
• Assist in identifying and tracking decarbonization initiatives with suppliers.
