Job summary

This position involves supporting the test team in validating systems, conducting hardware and software testing, and ensuring product release readiness. The role requires close collaboration with engineering teams to maintain high product quality through various testing methodologies.

Qualifications

  • Currently in the final year of a bachelor's degree or pursuing a master's degree in computer science, IT, Electronics, or a related field.
  • Hands-on experience in software, system, or hardware testing is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with Windows environments; experience with Linux is a plus.
  • Practical and organized working approach.
  • Proficiency in English.

Responsibilities

  • Design, execute, and maintain test cases, plans, and scripts.
  • Conduct functional, regression, integration, and system testing as directed by the Team Lead.
  • Assist in release testing, FAT testing, and system validation.
  • Identify, log, and track defects using Azure DevOps.
  • Support test automation readiness and enhance testing processes with the Test Team.
  • Install and configure Windows and Linux systems, set up PCs and servers in lab environments, and perform firmware installations and validations.
  • Diagnose hardware and software issues, support hardware testing, and maintain lab setups for testing.
  • Document test results and report on product quality status to assist in determining release readiness.

Skills

  • Experience with software and hardware testing methodologies.
  • Ability to work with virtual machines and hypervisors for testing environments.

Education

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, IT, Electronics, or equivalent.

Tools

  • Azure DevOps for defect tracking.
