Student Assistant - Fleet Investments (On-site, Copenhagen)

Job summary

This role involves supporting investment decisions related to large shipping assets within a finance team. The position offers hands-on experience in investment analysis, financial modeling, and strategic decision-making, while working closely with experienced finance professionals.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in a quantitative field, focusing on economics, finance, or investments at a Danish university.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a genuine interest in investments and corporate finance.
• Proactive and self-driven, comfortable taking ownership of tasks.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Prior experience in financial modeling and investment analysis is a plus but not mandatory.
• Fluent in written and spoken English; Danish is not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing, reviewing, and ensuring the quality of financial models for evaluating investments and strategic transactions.
• Prepare high-quality presentation materials and investment cases for executive stakeholders.
• Support annual business planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
• Coordinate analyses and follow-up activities across multiple stakeholders for strategic initiatives.
• Conduct ad hoc financial and business analyses for various stakeholders.
