Job summary

This role involves supporting the ESG team in developing data processes focused on greenhouse gas emissions within a biopharmaceutical company. The position is ideal for a Master's student interested in corporate sustainability and ESG reporting.

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a Master's program in environmental engineering, sustainability, environmental science, or a related field with a quantitative focus.
  • Passionate about sustainability and data analysis.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the collection, analysis, and validation of environmental data, specifically regarding Scope 1, 2, and 3 greenhouse gas emissions.
  • Support GHG calculations and maintain relevant data and documentation.
  • Document GHG calculation methodologies and data collection processes for external reporting.
  • Analyze environmental data and prepare sustainability KPIs.
  • Contribute to broader ESG reporting initiatives.

Skills

  • Strong analytical skills with confidence in handling quantitative data.
  • Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel, with the ability to manage complex datasets.
  • High attention to detail and a structured approach to tasks.
  • Good communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
  • Understanding of greenhouse gas accounting and ESG reporting is advantageous.
  • Relevant coursework in life cycle assessment (LCA) is a plus.

Education

  • Enrollment in a Master's program in a relevant field.

Tools

  • MS Office, particularly Excel.
