About the role

Job summary

This role involves becoming the first dedicated statistical programmer within a team focused on clinical evidence activities. The position requires strong programming skills in clinical research and aims to support various clinical evidence initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in life sciences, natural sciences, engineering, or equivalent.
  • 2-3 years of programming experience, preferably with SAS, and familiarity with biological data.
  • Experience with Python/PySpark is a plus.
  • Understanding of clinical investigation data structures and CDISC standards is advantageous.

Responsibilities

  • Assist biostatisticians and real-world evidence managers with data preparation and SAS program development.
  • Create analysis datasets, tables, listings, and figures.
  • Develop reusable programming solutions, macros, and standards.
  • Conduct quality control and validation of programming outputs.
  • Contribute to Statistical Analysis Plans and data presentation efforts.
  • Support data managers with database quality and user acceptance testing.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory expectations and internal quality standards.
  • Drive continuous improvement in programming processes and standards.

Skills

  • Strong analytical skills, independence, and accountability in managing workloads.
  • Effective collaboration across different professional areas.
  • Good communication skills in English, both written and spoken, with the ability to explain technical concepts.

Education

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in relevant fields.

Tools

  • SAS for clinical investigations.
  • Python/PySpark for real-world evidence projects.
