Senior AI Engineer

Job summary

This role involves developing and enhancing AI-driven solutions specifically for the publishing sector. The focus is on practical implementation rather than theoretical discussions or low-code automation.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with AI/ML tools, LLMs, API integrations, and AI application development.
• Proficiency in programming, preferably in Python and/or TypeScript.
• Familiarity with frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, LlamaIndex, or similar tools.
• Practical understanding of prompt engineering, retrieval-augmented generation, and model evaluation.
• Experience using agentic coding tools like Codex, Cursor, Claude Code, or GitHub Copilot.

Responsibilities

• Build, run, and evaluate proof-of-concept and MVP initiatives in automated content creation and AI-assisted publishing workflows.
• Develop practical AI solutions using LLMs, APIs, and automation pipelines.
• Experiment with new tools and frameworks to enhance AI capabilities.
• Translate business needs into reliable technical solutions.
• Take ownership of technical tasks and proactively identify opportunities and blockers.
• Collaborate with QA, product, editorial, and production teams to validate and improve model outputs.
• Stay updated with emerging AI frameworks and best practices.

• Ability to work independently while keeping managers informed.
• Clear communication skills for effective cross-functional collaboration.

Education

• A documented project showcasing personal work with AI is required, detailing the problem solved, AI tools used, and the development process. Projects must demonstrate technical implementation beyond no-code solutions.
