Job summary

This role involves developing and executing a comprehensive editorial strategy aimed at educating and engaging a technically adept audience in the quantum computing sector. The position focuses on creating various forms of content and enhancing the company's visibility and thought leadership in the field.

Qualifications

  • PhD in quantum physics or a closely related discipline.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in experimental quantum physics and/or computing.
  • Experience with spin qubits is highly desirable.
  • Proven ability in technical communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong storytelling capabilities with excellent written and spoken English.
  • Comfortable public speaker, with experience presenting at conferences or webinars.
  • Enthusiastic about marketing, storytelling, and science communication.
  • Proficient user of professional social media platforms (LinkedIn, X/Bluesky, YouTube).
  • Collaborative mindset, able to work effectively with Marketing, Product, R&D, and Sales teams.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage the content strategy and tone of voice across various channels.
  • Create technical content including whitepapers, blog posts, datasheets, and solution briefs.
  • Write digital and social media copy for platforms such as blogs and LinkedIn.
  • Initiate and lead thought leadership projects to enhance personal branding.
  • Support account-based marketing initiatives with relevant content.
  • Script and produce videos for outreach and product explanations, including training materials.
  • Collaborate with Marketing Operations to analyze and improve content performance.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations, representing the organization at conferences and webinars, and effectively communicate complex concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Engage with customers and prospects to refine and enhance marketing strategies.

Skills

  • Exceptional writing and communication skills.
  • Strong analytical skills for content performance evaluation.
  • Ability to craft compelling narratives around technical subjects.

Education

  • PhD in quantum physics or a related field.

Tools

  • Familiarity with content creation tools and social media platforms.
