Software Engineer (FinTech)

Job summary

This role involves developing and maintaining features within the Accounting product areas, contributing throughout the entire development lifecycle, and collaborating with teammates and stakeholders to deliver secure solutions. The position is part of a growing Accounting team that supports major financial institutions by simplifying their investments and operations.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of software engineering fundamentals, including algorithms and data structures.
• Willingness to learn and work with in-house tools and frameworks, particularly the APL programming language.
• Proficiency in at least one object-oriented or functional programming language, with C# being advantageous.
• Familiarity with modern engineering tools and practices, including CI/CD and trunk-based development.
• Experience with relational databases and SQL.
• Ability to work in a complex accounting domain involving financial instruments.
• Good English skills (upper-intermediate or higher).
• Experience with cloud technologies and the fintech domain is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain features in the Accounting product areas.
• Contribute to the entire development lifecycle from requirements analysis to ongoing support.
• Collaborate with teammates, Product Managers, and Architects to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Create and maintain test cases and automated tests for feature acceptance criteria.
• Uphold engineering best practices and contribute to continuous improvement.
• Deepen knowledge of the Accounting domain and understand product support for customer outcomes.
• Be open to feedback, mentorship, and knowledge sharing within the team.
