Job summary

This role involves developing and modernizing software tools for techno-economic analysis within the wind energy sector. The position is key in shaping future product concepts through digital tool development and analysis, helping to guide decisions and reduce risks in project development.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Computational or Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Practical experience with AI and machine learning applications.
  • Familiarity with modern development practices, including Git, testing, and code review.
  • Interest in techno-economic analysis and the wind industry; experience in the energy sector is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and enhance the toolchain for scenario analysis.
  • Implement AI and machine learning for value creation, including surrogate models and automated scenario generation.
  • Improve engineering standards in version control, testing, CI/CD, and documentation.
  • Support project development by running and interpreting scenarios.
  • Collaborate with product planning teams to transition ideas into products.

Skills

  • Strong problem-solving, analysis, and debugging abilities.
  • Initiative-driven with a proactive approach to project ownership.
  • Excellent communication skills, fluent in English, both written and verbal.

Education

  • Relevant degree in a technical field as specified in qualifications.
