Senior Validation and Qualification Engineer (On-site, Denmark)

Job summary

This role involves working within the Validation and Qualification group, focusing on the LinkX interconnect portfolio, including optical transceivers and silicon photonics technologies. The engineer will define qualification plans, lead qualification efforts, and collaborate with various hardware development teams.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Electro-Optics, Physics, or equivalent experience.
• Over 5 years of experience in validating Electro-Optics modules and analyzing optical systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop qualification plans and test scopes for Engineering Change Requests and new product introductions.
• Lead qualification kick-offs and communicate objectives and status to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with hardware development groups to align technical requirements.
• Analyze test data and qualification reports to identify risks.
• Manage the setup and expansion of optical lab stations.
• Serve as the Optics Point-of-Contact for the group, addressing optics issues and leading investigations.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of high-speed optical transceivers and silicon photonics.
• Experience in defining qualification or test plans and reviewing data.
• Proficient with optical lab instruments and capable of troubleshooting lab setups.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to present technical conclusions clearly.
• Data analysis skills using Python or similar tools.

• Optical lab instruments such as VOA, Spectrum Analyzer, VNA, and optical power meters.
