Senior Test Engineer (R&D, Kolding)

Job summary

The role involves working at an R&D center focused on energy management products, particularly 3-phase Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) systems and power converters.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Test Engineer or Verification & Validation engineer, specifically with 3-phase data center UPS products.
• Background in Power Electronics, Electronics, or Electrical Engineering.
• Knowledge of electronic hardware power design, including power converters and 3-phase power systems.
• Basic understanding of Regulatory Compliance and Certification (IEC/UL/EMI) is a plus.
• Proficiency in written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot complex issues using knowledge of high-power equipment.
• Define and plan mechanical and electrical tests on UPS products.
• Build test setups, replicate customer issues, and collaborate on solutions.
• Define, plan, and execute Verification & Validation tests and regulatory compliance tests.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure timely delivery of high-quality releases.
• Participate in the development of new test methodologies and adapt to new technologies or tools.
