Job summary

The role involves leading sustainability initiatives and projects that contribute to a healthier planet and society. The Senior Sustainability Manager will translate complex scientific data into actionable insights, driving strategic sustainability projects and fostering collaboration across various teams.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in natural science, economics, engineering, business, or a related field
• Over 10 years of experience in management consulting, sustainability program leadership, or senior sustainability roles
• Experience with life cycle assessment, environmental economics, or socio-economic impact studies
• Proven ability to integrate sustainability into corporate strategy or commercial offerings
• Strong stakeholder management skills
• Ability to convey complex technical analyses into clear insights
• Fluent in English

Responsibilities

• Lead project delivery in accordance with established frameworks and best practices
• Manage project backlog and ensure alignment with teams
• Define and control project budgets
• Ensure ongoing engagement and alignment on project goals and status
• Conduct sustainability assessments to support business initiatives
• Develop and communicate sustainability narratives based on scientific analysis
• Create strategic materials for decision-makers
• Produce documentation and insights for various audiences
• Facilitate effective communication of complex data to stakeholders
