Senior Software Engineer (On-site)

Job summary

As a Senior Software Engineer within the Investigations team, you will take charge of the technical direction and development of customer-facing web features, APIs, and services. You will work closely with product managers and designers to deliver scalable solutions that enhance customer experiences in the cryptocurrency space.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in designing and implementing cloud-native services on major cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP.
• Strong mentoring skills and experience leading cross-team projects at a senior or lead level.
• Ability to align technical execution with product and design teams, demonstrating a strong bias for shipping and iterating.
• Deep experience with object-oriented programming languages, particularly Java and TypeScript.
• Extensive background in complex backend and/or frontend systems, with a focus on leadership roles.
• Ownership of product ideas from inception to production.
• Good understanding of frontend and backend best practices.
• Experience integrating AI into customer-facing products or engineering infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Lead the architecture and development of cloud-native data ingestion and aggregation processes.
• Drive feature delivery across the product suite to detect market manipulation and fraud.
• Own and scale high-performance services on AWS handling thousands of requests per second.
• Guide the team's modernization efforts towards a streaming architecture.
• Direct the development of the graphing platform used across multiple products.
• Debug and resolve production issues across various systems and services.
• Mentor and foster a culture of technical excellence within the team.

Skills
