Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (Hybrid, Aarhus)

Job summary

A leading cybersecurity company is looking for a Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to join their NG-SIEM Product Group. This role involves building and maintaining distributed test and release automation to ensure the quality of a high-scale event search and detection platform.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in software testing and quality assurance, focusing on test automation.
• Proven track record in designing and implementing large-scale test automation frameworks.
• Expert-level proficiency in programming languages such as JavaScript, Python, Java, or C#.
• Familiarity with testing tools and best practices (e.g., Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, Cucumber).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps).
• Strong understanding of various testing methodologies and the software development lifecycle.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to lead and mentor a team of SDETs.
• Experience utilizing AI technologies to enhance workflows and improve efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of scalable automated testing architecture.
• Build and guide end-to-end release automation for all releasable entities.
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, and release management teams.
• Act as a technical leader for quality assurance practices.
• Navigate ambiguity while delivering innovative solutions.

Skills

• Strong coding skills and experience in a hands-on environment.
• Familiarity with large-scale log management products and cybersecurity products is a plus.

Education

• Relevant degree in Computer Science or related field is preferred.

Tools

• Experience with Go, Kafka, GraphQL, Kubernetes, and Jenkins is a bonus.
